TownePlace Suites by Marriott Roswell

Came a little expectations. It’s Roswell so figured a lot of tourists. Mark greeted us at the front counter. Was very friendly. Room is ok. He even called to ensure we were ok afterwards. Great guy. A bit older but decent w a small kitchen. Lamps and furniture were updated. Electrical and plumbing fixtures were older. Bathroom was a bit older but not ancient. Breakfast was ok as well. Waffle machine; juice machine; 2 hot dishes; cereal bar; Not the biggest spread but ok.

This hotel was OK, but not great. The pillows were pretty useless, it felt like I was sleeping on a bag of old crumpled up sheets. We went out to Target and bought new pillows after the first night. The toilet in the suite backed up multiple times. When we asked about switching in to another room we were told all the suites were doing the same thing. They left a plunger in the room for us, but it made the stay less than ideal to have to plunge everytime we went to the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, the tub is SUPER slick. You can see the outlines were non-slip pads once were there, but they are long gone. I recommend holding on to the railing while taking a shower so you don't slip. All that said, the rooms were quiet and we liked the layout of the suite. The pool was nice (albeit a tad small). Breakfast was about normal for hotel breakfast. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

Overall we had a very nice stay. The room was clean and the kitchenette was a big plus, with enough items to cook which made it very convenient for our family. The bathroom was very clean, had great hot water, and included shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. I did expect the room to be a little bigger, but it still worked well for us. The customer service was super friendly and helpful whenever we asked for extra towels or pillows. Breakfast was pretty decent too—bacon, eggs, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, milk and coffee. The reason for 4 stars is that my points were not added to my stay, and I had to call the 1-800 number to get help with that. Also, the scent used to keep the hotel smelling clean was a little strong for us. Aside from that, we had a pleasant experience.

Nice front desk with Mark assisting. I’ve stayed here multiple times over the years, where the rooms are clean and kept well. Disappointing that they now charge $12 for parking, but provide no incentive for this. No security, nothing. Will stay elsewhere in the future, sorry.

We stay every time we have to visit and it’s been great. Good breakfast, clean rooms and sweet staff. Everyone who works here is accommodating and welcoming!

I stayed at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott on my very first trip to Roswell, NM. I want to give a shoutout to Mark for helping me out even before starting my stay as I booked the reservation on the wrong credit card. He made it very easy to get the payment corrected and I was able to take advantage of a big credit card promotion thanks to Mark. During this stay, I checked in quite late and would return to the hotel very late at night. Tori made my check-in process extremely smooth and her smiling face and bubbly personality was much appreciated after a long day. I valued my conversations with her as she was able to tell me more about Roswell and my stay was all the more pleasant because of her. I would certainly stay here again on future trips to Roswell.

I like the room; it was really nice. Sorry I took photos after I settled in the room. The bed was comfortable and clean, and the shower was really spacious and nice. The lobby of the hotel was two hotels in one. The room over was great. I may not stay if I come back i think its kind of crazy this property wants to charge $12 for parking i chose to park at hospital across the street and walk to property across two lanes of traffic to avoid a $12 parking fee.

We arrived late at night after a long drive down from Santa Fe, the front desk girl was really nice, seemed to be in a cheerful mood, and made check in go by smoothly. We settled into the room just fine, it was spacious and seemed pretty clean. Aside from the window curtains needing a wash, I didn't really see anything that stood out to me as being that dirty. I checked the beds and they were both fine. The pillows could be a bit better, they were pretty flat and didn't offer much support. The "pull out" sofa sucked, it was quite hard and it was confusing trying to figure out how it folded out as it isn't your typical fold out sleeping sofa. You had to take all of the cushions and pillows off then grab two little handle things to flip the top half of the sofa onto the ground to open up the "bed" which is basically just a support box like you would put under a mattress. I also wish they had a slightly bigger trash can in the room, we have booked a suite for two nights with six guests in it and there was only one small can in the kitchenette and one small can in the bathroom. Breakfast was as you'd expect at a hotel. There wasn't a ton of seating so we ended up taking it back to our room.
